From Nobuo Uematsu to Leona Lewis?
This list is as innovative as Milo.
If we were to label any game "innovative" for any new feature they had brought to the scene, all games would probably win that title.
It's impossible to tell which game is more innovative than the rest. WoW is just another MMORPG, why not call the original Neverwinter Nights the most innovative MMORPG since it created the genre and not just some "carrot dangling" stuff?
Halo was innovative onl...
You pay $200 for an iPhone and then $60/month for two years. All you can play are Atari-era puzzle games, tower defense games and a just a few good games.
While I don't agree with the idea of turning Go into a phone, your comparison of the devices isn't very brilliant.
PlayStation motion (Sphere?) will be marketed as a peripheral and I'm sure Sony will not take it seriously.
Natal, on the other hand, is Microsoft's last resort to prove that it has a better system than Sony. It's a no-brainer then that they will market the sh!t out of it and you will see all sorts of obese women and stupid blonds on talk shows playing with Natal. How embarrassing!
It would be interesting to see if Microsoft can offset the marketing costs of Nat...
There is no denying that Nintendo was an innovator in the gaming industry.
There was one huge revolution that all of you are failing to mention: games for adults and older people. That, my friends, was Sony's revolution.
I'm in college and I'm not ashamed to be a gamer and Sony takes the credit for that.
Media Vision is an independent studio and it isn't owned by Sony, but the Wild Arms IP is owned by Sony. This means that the name Wild Arms can only be used by Sony and they can assign any developer they want to create a Wild Arms game.
You are right about RPGs being better on the PS1. RPG sales declined in the last generation which may explain the publishers' reluctance to pour money into making (big) RPG games.
I'll wait for a confirmation before getting excite...
In the long run, this does more harm than good to Sony. Q-Games is a small but quite creative developer. They are one of the major content providers on the PSN.
Crystal Defenders is available on almost every platform while Monsters is exclusive to Sony devices.
Let Square Enix do the marketing for their crappy game but promoting Monsters is Sony's responsibility.
I don't recall anyone asking you anything? Or are you using another account to reply? Or are you simply a bot?
Wrong zone. :(
They aren't really pro-360, more like pro-Nintendo and anti-Sony.
Great job, they did.
VGChartz isn't always very accurate, but providing worldwide weekly sales that are, more often than not, accurate or at least close to the actual numbers is a good thing.
In North America, NPD numbers are released to the public on a monthly basis, so until we get NPD numbers, VGChartz is an alternative. Of course they are way off base at times.
Please note that sometimes even NPD numbers aren't very accurate. Sometimes there are discrepancies between NPD numbers...
Mr. El Botto, I think it's E.
It looks like that once again Sony should spearhead the transition to online content. They always do the hardwork of educating people.
How on Earth do those retailers get to do business of any sort?
Obviously, Sony does not expect it to be big, they are just experimenting with it for now.
Obviously, you're not familiar with the concept of trolling.
Give this a read and I will give you a bubble: http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
It will take a few more years to make the device sweat. God of War 2 did that on the PS2.
You compared Forza to a kart racer? Sounds about right.
Modnation destroyes Forza 3 in every single category.
I like how you bots pwn yourselves. Keep it up.
ridiculously fun to play. No online game looks so beautiful. I prefer 3rd person online gameplay to 1st person and that's why Warhawk is still my favorite. Frankly, I didn't expect Uncharted 2's online to be such a blast!
Lol@Chloe singing "I got the trasure" ;)
If you remember, they said the same thing during the E3 conference. How the hell does this push the PS3 to the max?
I take ND's claim about Uncharted 2's 100% use of PS3 power with a grain of salt, now they want me to believe this?
PlayStation 3 goes way beyond anything we can imagine at the moment.
but I think the lyrics in One-Winged Angel were not original but were taken straight from Carmina Burana. Still, lyrics are lyrics and I side with you. :)
